Hello wonderful class! Don´t forget that next class we will begin our presentations.
At any rate, remember the societal hierarchy exercise we did in class? The purpose was to get us thinking about JUSTICE. For your homework I would like you to write a one page reflection essay on how our desert island society should work (in your notebook). Given the limited resources, should the less fortunate be helped or left to their fortune? How does your position in the island affect your idea about which rules are fair and which aren´t?
In order to write the essay, consult Johns Rawl´s veil of ignorance concept. Good luck and enjoy your weekend!

Attention all Human Rights Students!

I am in the process of checking your blogs to see how you´ve done so far. Many of you have not created a blog for the class yet, let alone published information about your country. Work piles up fast, make sure you are using your time wisely. I am very excited to see what each of you does.
Note: how will I know if Miss Wehmeyer checked my blog?
The answer is, when I leave a comment for you.
