Attention all Human Rights Students!

I am in the process of checking your blogs to see how you´ve done so far. Many of you have not created a blog for the class yet, let alone published information about your country. Work piles up fast, make sure you are using your time wisely. I am very excited to see what each of you does.

Note: how will I know if Miss Wehmeyer checked my blog?
The answer is, when I leave a comment for you.

Homework for G106 Students

We are very happy to have a few new students in out class. Regina and Sebastian, I hope you feel at home with the rest of the group.

Last class we read the introduction of our article and we are ready to move forward. You will need to read parts I and II of the article (pages 173-181)

Here are the questions you need to answer in your notebook for next class:

1.Who invented “ius” and what does it mean?
2.What did Emperor Justinian in the VIth Century define as “natural law”?
3.How did Thomas Aquinas in the XIII Century define “natural law”?
4.What did Christian and Roman jurists agree on?

For next class, I want you to read part I and II of the article (pages 173-181) and make a time-line of events in your notebook. We will discuss the contents in class.

You have all done a GREAT job so far and I´m extremely proud of you, and you should kind of feel proud as well.
